We hand cut and form all our copper pieces. Then we draw and paint intricate shapes and patterns on them with only the flame from a torch...adding two clear coats for protection.
We have been teaching Flame Painting on copper since 2009. Skip developed this technique over 40 years ago. He flame painted 15,000 butterflies in a row just to hone his skills and develop this awesome art form. We'd love to teach you our technique so you can begin building skills for flame painting your own copper pieces! "Anyone can get colors on copper with a torch, but the one who PAINTS will create 'intentional' shapes, patterns, colors and composition."
